This is a handy slice and bake cookie recipe.
Great for this time of year.
Make the dough when you're watching television.
Slice and bake for a warm treat when company's coming.
They'll never know.
Well, they might notice there aren't any dirty bowls around.
For a little variety...
Make slightly fatter logs, then flatten the dough to form a long rectangle
which, when cut, would make square cookies.
Or you can leave it as a long log, to make regular round cookies.
