Grease an 8 inch square pan
Preheat oven to 350º
In a large pot place
2 Cups water
1 Cup raisins
Let boil 5 minutes.
1 Tablespoon oil
Let it cool.
2 Cups flour
1 Cup sugar
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
Add to cooled raisins and water
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 35 minutes.
